Fetching or Re-generating the Audience
The fetch button in the top-right of the card header changes label based on state:
| State | Button label | Icon |

| No data yet | Fetch Target Audience | ✨ Sparkles |
| Data exists | Refetch Audience | ↺ Refresh |
| Fetching in progress | Analyzing… | Spinner (disabled) |
A Stop button also appears alongside the fetch button while the job is running.
Generation Progress Panel
While the AI is working, a progress panel appears above the segments showing:
- Overall progress bar with percentage
- Estimated time remaining
- Job status badge (Queued / In Progress / Completed / Failed)
- 2×4 grid of all 8 stages with status icons: ✓ (green = completed), spinner (blue = current), ✗ (red = failed), circle (muted = pending)
- Error message if a stage fails

Warning: Re-fetching the audience will overwrite all existing tags in all 8 segments. Note any manual edits before re-generating.
Tips
- Needs & Pain Points is the most important segment for writing effective ads and posts. Spend extra time reviewing it.
- Technographics influences which platforms get recommended in the Platform Selection tab.
- Media Consumption feeds directly into platform and content format recommendations.
- You can add multiple tags per segment — the AI generates 5–10 suggestions per category; you may want to trim down to the 3–5 most relevant.
