Editorial Calendar Tab - Tab 6
The Editorial Calendar tab gives you a visual monthly calendar populated with events, holidays, seasonal occasions, and cultural moments relevant to your business's location and timeframe. These events serve as content prompts — moments you can plan posts, campaigns, or promotions around. You can also add custom events manually.

Prerequisites
For the AI to fetch relevant events, your strategy needs:
- A Start Date and End Date (set in the Business Goals tab)
- A location — either specific locations or a country/region from the geographic targeting settings
Without these, the calendar can still be used manually, but AI-fetched events won't be available.
Fetching Events
Click "Fetch Calendar"
Click the Fetch Calendar button to have the AI populate the calendar with events. The AI discovers:
- National and regional public holidays
- Cultural and religious occasions
- Seasonal moments (back to school, summer, Ramadan, Black Friday, etc.)
- Industry-specific events relevant to your business type
- Local events for your geographic target area
Fetch Progress
During the fetch, a progress bar shows:
- Number of events processed vs. total found
- Current processing stage
- Overall status
When complete, events appear on the calendar automatically.
Navigating the Calendar

| Control | Action |
|---|---|
| ← / → arrows | Go to previous or next month |
| Today button | Jump back to the current month |
| Click a date | Open the event detail panel for that day |
Dates with events show colored dots or indicators. The number of dots corresponds to the number of events on that day.
Viewing Events on a Date
Click any date cell to open a dialog showing all events on that day.

Each event shows:
- Title — name of the event or occasion
- Category — type of event (holiday, cultural, seasonal, custom)
- Description — what the event is about
- Country — origin or applicability
- Content Opportunity — AI-generated suggestion for how to use this moment in your marketing
- URL — link to more information (when available)
Adding Events Manually

Click the + Add Event button (or click a specific date and choose "Add Event") to create a custom event.
Add Event Fields
| Field | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Title | Yes | Name of the event |
| Date | Yes | The date of the event (pre-filled if you clicked a date) |
| Type | No | Custom, Holiday, Campaign, Launch, etc. |
| Category | No | A freeform category label |
| Description | No | What this event is |
| Content Opportunity | No | Notes on how to capitalize on this moment |
Click Add to save the event to the calendar. Custom events are stored alongside AI-fetched events.
Searching Events

Use the search bar to filter events by keyword. Type a term and the calendar highlights or lists only matching events. This is useful when planning around a specific occasion across multiple months.
How the Editorial Calendar Connects to Content
Events on the editorial calendar are available when you create campaigns or quick posts. When scheduling a post, you can reference calendar events to align content with the right moment. The AI content generator also considers upcoming events when suggesting post timing and themes.
Tips
- Fetch the calendar early — it gives you a full view of content opportunities before you start building campaigns.
- Pay attention to the Content Opportunity field on AI-fetched events — these are ready-made creative prompts.
- For multi-region strategies, add custom events for local moments the AI may not have captured.
- Ramadan, Eid, National Day, and other regional occasions are high-value moments — validate they appear after fetching, and add them manually if missing.
