Personas Tab - Tab 5
The Personas tab generates rich, fictional but data-driven customer profiles that represent the key segments of your target audience. Each persona is a fully detailed character — complete with a name, age, occupation, goals, pain points, preferred channels, personality traits, and a characteristic quote. You can edit every field on every persona.

Prerequisites
Target Audience data must be completed before personas can be generated. The AI creates personas by analyzing all 8 audience segments and identifying the most distinct sub-groups within your audience.
Generating Personas
Setting the Persona Count

Before generating, choose how many personas you want. More personas provide broader coverage of your audience segments.
| Count | When to Use |
|---|---|
| 2–3 | Small budget, focused product, single platform |
| 4–5 | Multiple segments, multi-platform strategy |
| 6+ | Enterprise, complex audience with many distinct sub-groups |
Clicking "Generate Personas"
Click the Generate Personas (✨ Sparkles) button to start. The AI creates each persona one by one.

Generation Progress
During generation, a progress tracker shows:
- Current persona being generated (number and name)
- Total persona count
- Percent complete
- Time remaining
- List of completed personas with checkmarks
- Category labels (e.g., "The Ambitious Professional", "The Value Seeker")
You can stop generation at any time. Completed personas are preserved.

Targeting Recommendations
Below the persona cards, the AI provides a set of Targeting Recommendations — strategic notes about how to reach these segments collectively. These are actionable tips derived from cross-persona patterns.

Segment Insights

If available, segment-level insights appear alongside the targeting recommendations. Each insight describes the strategic focus for a given persona category.
Re-generating Personas
Click Generate Personas again to regenerate all personas. This will overwrite existing personas. If you've made manual edits you want to keep, note them before re-generating.
Tips
- The Quote field is one of the most useful for marketing — it captures the emotional voice of the persona and can inspire ad headlines or social captions.
- Pain Points combined with the Needs & Pain Points from the Target Audience tab give you the strongest signals for what to say in your ads.
- If the AI generates personas that don't feel right for your market, you can edit each one manually rather than re-generating from scratch.
- Attach each persona to a specific campaign when creating campaigns — this helps the AI write platform-specific content in the right tone.
