Platform Selection Tab - Tab 4
The Platform Selection tab shows the social media platforms the AI recommends for your strategy, based on your target audience profile. You can accept these recommendations, remove platforms you don't want, and manually add any platform from the available list.

Prerequisites
Target Audience data must be available before the AI can generate platform recommendations. Specifically, the AI uses:
- Technographics — device and platform usage habits
- Media Consumption — where your audience consumes content
- Demographics — age groups that index strongly on certain platforms
- Behavioral — how your audience interacts with content
Recommended Platforms
The AI selects from the following available platforms:

Recommended platforms appear as secondary badge chips in the Recommended Platforms section. When no platforms exist yet, an info alert is shown instead.

Managing Platforms
Removing a Platform
Click the × inside any recommendation badge to remove it from the selection.
Adding a Platform Manually
Platforms not currently selected appear in the Add More Platforms section as outline buttons with a + icon (not badge chips). Click a button to add that platform.
Re-generating Recommendations
The regenerate button is in the top-right of the Recommended Platforms section. Its label changes:

The button is disabled if:
- The audience data has not been fetched yet (all 8 Target Audience segments must have content)
- A process is currently running
How Platform Selection Affects the Rest of the Strategy
The platforms you confirm here are used throughout the rest of the strategy workflow:
- Personas are assigned preferred channels based on the selected platforms
- Campaigns created from this strategy pre-select these platforms when choosing where to publish
- KPIs in the KPI tab can be tracked per-platform using the platform-specific metric fields
Tips
- You are not locked in to the AI's recommendations — manually adjust based on your budget, team capabilities, and existing audience.
- If you already have a strong following on a platform not recommended by the AI, add it manually.
- For B2B strategies, LinkedIn and Twitter/X are almost always worth including even if the AI doesn't prioritize them.
- Selecting too many platforms (5+) can stretch your content team thin. Focus on 2–3 that truly match your audience and content style.
