Hashtag Generation - Step 6
The Hashtag Generation step produces a set of categorized hashtags for your campaign. Hashtags are organized into four strategic groups based on what they're designed to attract. All hashtags are AI-generated and fully editable.

Auto-Generation
Hashtags are automatically generated when you arrive at this step — if all prerequisites are met. You don't need to click anything. If they haven't been generated (or if you want fresh ones), click the ✨ Generate Hashtags button.
The Four Hashtag Categories
Each category targets a different discovery and engagement purpose:
Target Audience Hashtags
Hashtags that resonate with your ideal customer's identity, interests, and lifestyle. These attract your audience by appearing in the feeds and searches they already use.
Examples:
#HealthyLiving,#WorkingMoms,#SmallBusinessOwner,#FitnessJourney
Product / Service Hashtags
Hashtags directly related to what you're selling — product categories, industry terms, or service-specific tags.
Examples:
#SkinCare,#CloudSoftware,#InteriorDesign,#VirtualAssistant
Value Proposition Hashtags
Hashtags that communicate the outcome or transformation your product/service delivers.
Examples:
#SaveTime,#AffordableLuxury,#SimplifiedAccounting,#FastDelivery
General Hashtags
Broad, high-volume hashtags that increase overall post visibility across a wide audience.
Examples:
#Marketing,#Business,#Entrepreneur,#Growth
Editing Hashtags
Every category is displayed as a tag input — a list of chip tags you can freely edit.

- Remove a hashtag: Click the
×on the chip - Add a hashtag: Click in the input area, type the hashtag (with or without the
#— it's added automatically), and press Enter
Changes are saved automatically with the campaign.
Regenerating
Click ✨ Generate Hashtags (or the Refresh icon) to regenerate all four categories. This overwrites current hashtags — copy any manual additions first if you want to keep them.
How Hashtags Are Used
When the AI generates posts in Step 10, it selects relevant hashtags from these four pools and appends them to post copy based on platform conventions (e.g., Instagram posts get more hashtags than LinkedIn).
Tips
- Target Audience and Value Proposition hashtags tend to perform best on Instagram and TikTok.
- Product/Service hashtags are more search-intent driven — strong on Google (YouTube) and LinkedIn.
- Keep General hashtags to 3–5 broad terms. Too many generic hashtags dilute specificity.
- Manually add location-specific hashtags if you're running geographically targeted campaigns (e.g.,
#DubaiEats,#RiyadhBusiness).
