Strategy Selection - Step 2
The Strategy Selection step links your campaign to one of your existing strategies. The strategy you choose provides the audience data, personas, platform preferences, competitive context, and brand positioning that power every AI generation step that follows.

Why You Need a Strategy
A campaign without a strategy is limited in what the AI can generate. The strategy provides:
- Target audience profile (demographics, psychographics, behaviors)
- Personas — selectable in the next step
- Platform recommendations — which social channels to use
- Competitor context — used to sharpen messaging
- Business goals — seeded into the purpose statement
If you haven't created a strategy yet, go to Strategies in the sidebar and complete at least the Business Goals and Target Audience tabs before returning here.
Selecting a Strategy
All strategies in your account are listed as cards. Each card shows:
- Strategy name
- Status badge (Active, Draft, Paused, etc.)
- Linked business or campaign context
Click a strategy card to select it.

When you select a strategy, the platform fetches the full strategy data including all personas. This may take a moment.
Changing a Strategy
You can switch strategies at any time by clicking a different card. Changing the strategy clears the selected personas and segments from the previous step — you'll need to re-select the audience in Step 3.
Tips
- Use a strategy that matches the industry, product, and audience of this specific campaign. A mismatch produces generic AI output.
- If you're running multiple campaigns for the same brand, they can all share the same strategy — each campaign will still have its own goals, messages, and posts.
- Strategies marked as Completed are still usable in campaigns.
