Campaigns Overview
Campaigns are the core of how ZorgSocial helps you organize your social media content. Instead of posting randomly, a campaign lets you group related posts together under a shared goal, timeline, and strategy.
Plan Required: Campaigns require a Pro plan or higher
What is a Campaign?
A campaign is a structured collection of social media posts built around:
- A goal — e.g., increase brand awareness, drive traffic to a website, promote a product launch.
- A timeline — start date and end date.
- A target audience — define who you're talking to.
- A tone and messaging — what you want to say and how you want to say it.
- A strategy (optional) — an AI-generated plan for what to post and when.
Think of a campaign as a planned marketing push — like a product launch, a seasonal promotion, or an awareness drive — where all posts contribute to one goal.
Campaign Types
ZorgSocial has two types of campaigns:
1. Organic Campaigns
These are campaigns made up of regular (non-paid) social media posts. The AI helps you generate the posts, hashtags, and posting schedule. Posts are published organically to your connected accounts.
2. Ad Campaigns
These are paid advertising campaigns that can be pushed to Meta (Facebook & Instagram) as actual ads.
The Campaigns List
Go to Social Campaigns → Organic Campaigns from the sidebar to see all your campaigns.

From here you can:
- Search campaigns by name.
- Filter by status (draft, active, paused, completed).
- Switch between grid view and list view.
- Create a new campaign.
- Edit or delete existing campaigns.
Campaign Statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Draft | Campaign is being set up, not yet active |
| Active | Campaign is running and posts are being published/scheduled |
| Paused | Campaign paused temporarily |
| Completed | Campaign has ended |
How Campaigns and Strategies Work Together
While you can create a campaign without a strategy, linking a campaign to a Social Strategy gives the AI more context to:
- Suggest the right content pillars.
- Target the right audience personas.
- Generate posts that align with your overall brand strategy.
