You don't have to post in real time. ZorgSocial lets you plan your content ahead of time by scheduling posts to go live at the exact date and time you choose.

Overview

Scheduling works everywhere you create posts:

  • In Quick Posts (Manual, AI-assisted, or from a Webpage)
  • Inside a Campaign when generating posts
  • Directly from the Master Calendar

How to Schedule a Post

From the Manua Post

After writing your post and selecting your target accounts:

  1. Instead of clicking Post Now, click Schedule.
  2. A calendar and time picker will appear.
  3. Select your desired date.
  4. Select your desired time (your local time zone is used by default).
  5. Click Confirm (or Save Schedule).

Your post is now scheduled. You'll see a confirmation and the post will appear in your Master Calendar.

Viewing Your Scheduled Posts

Go to the Master Calendar (sidebar → Master Calendar) to see all your scheduled posts laid out on a calendar grid.

  • Blue dots or blocks on a date indicate scheduled posts.
  • Click on any event block to see the post detail.

See [Using the Master Calendar] for full details.

Editing a Scheduled Post

To change the content or timing of a scheduled post:

  1. Go to the Master Calendar.
  2. Click the post you want to edit.
  3. A detail panel will open showing the post content, platform, and scheduled time.
  4. Make your changes.
  5. Save.

Deleting a Scheduled Post

To remove a scheduled post:

  1. Go to the Master Calendar.
  2. Click the post.
  3. Click Delete (or the trash icon).
  4. Confirm deletion.

⚠️ Deleting a scheduled post cannot be undone.

What Happens When a Post Goes Live

When the scheduled time arrives, ZorgSocial automatically publishes the post to all the accounts you selected. You don't need to be logged in or have the app open.

If there's a problem (e.g., the social account token expired), you'll see a Failed status on that post in the calendar, and you may receive a notification.

Rescheduling a Post That Failed

If a post fails to publish:

  1. Go to the Master Calendar.
  2. Find the post with a Failed status.
  3. Click on it.
  4. Fix the issue (usually reconnect the social account — see Connecting Social Accounts).
  5. Reschedule and try again.
