Creating a Post Manually
The quickest way to get content live on your social media is to create a post manually from scratch. No AI required — just write, select your accounts, and post (or schedule for later).
Getting to the Post Creator
- In the sidebar, click Quick Posts.
- A sub-menu will appear. Click Manual Post.
Or navigate directly to: /create-post?mode=scratch

The Post Creator Interface
Once you're on the Manual Post page, you'll see a simple editor with the following areas:

Step 1 — Write Your Post Content
In the main text area, type your post. You can:
- Write as much or as little text as you like.
- Use emojis by typing them directly or pasting them in.
- Add hashtags inline (e.g.,
#marketing #socialmedia).
💡 Tip: Different platforms have different character limits. ZorgSocial will show you a warning if you exceed a platform's limit when you select your target accounts.
Step 2 — Add Media (Optional)
To attach an image or video to your post:
- Click the Add Media button or the image icon.
- Choose to:
- Upload from your device — select a file from your computer.
- Pick from the Assets Manager — use a previously generated or uploaded asset using the Assets Manager

⚠️ Platform media requirements:
- Instagram requires at least one image or video.
- YouTube requires a video file.
- Other platforms are flexible.
Step 3 — Select Your Target Accounts
Below the text editor, you'll see a list of all your connected social accounts. Select one or more accounts to publish to.

You can post to multiple platforms at the same time. Each platform may show a preview of how the post will look.
Step 4 — Preview Your Post
Before publishing, check the Preview Panel on the right side of the screen. It shows how your post will appear on each selected platform.

Step 5 — Publish or Schedule
Once you're happy with your post, you have two options:
Publish Now
Click Post Now to publish immediately. Your post goes live on all selected accounts within seconds.
Schedule for Later
- Click Schedule.
- A date and time picker will appear.
- Choose the date and time you want the post to go live.
- Click Confirm Schedule.

Your post will appear in the Master Calendar as a scheduled item.
Editing or Deleting a Scheduled Post
To edit or delete a post you've already scheduled:
- Go to the Master Calendar.
- Find your scheduled post.
- Click on it to open its details.
- Edit the content, change the time, or delete it.
